Terms and Conditions of Participation

By submitting a bike rack design in our contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

I am submitting the design on behalf of myself or my child if the artist is under 18. In exchange for contest consideration, any and all legal rights of title and ownership in the submitted design (including copyright protections) shall become the legal right of the Freedman Arts District, Inc. and the Freedman Arts District, Inc. shall have free use of such design for any and all purposes for which it sees fit, without any further obligation to me (or my child if the artist is under 18). The submission was the sole creation of the named artist. I understand that designs submitted for consideration will not be returned.

Furthermore, I agree that the name of the student, school (if applicable), and grade level can be used in press releases, on the Freedman Arts District Inc website, in Freedman Arts District, Inc. publications, and in any other documents that the Freedman Arts District sees fit, without any further notice to me or the student. Additionally, I give permission to Freedman Arts District, Inc. to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works, publish through a variety of media, including social media, distribute copies to the public, and display publicly the submission, including text and illustrations, and any ancillary material, including, but not limited to, the student’s name, school, grade/level of study, and any photographs and/or videos containing the student’s image, for all purposes deemed appropriate by Freedman Arts District, Inc.. Freedman Arts District, Inc. may distribute the submission, including text and illustrations, and any ancillary material through a variety of media, including but not limited to print, television, websites, social media, or any other means.
